Barbecue Pineapple Pulled Pork Sandwiches

This is a super-easy recipe. Only five ingredients are needed. The end product will not give that away. The meat is juicy, flavorful, and perfect for sandwiches. I have been making this pulled pork for a very long time. It has never disappointed.

  • Trim the meat of any visible fat. Rub with the seasoning
  • Add the barbecue sauce to a small slow cooker. Place the meat on top and flip until the meat is covered in the sauce. Place the pineapple tidbits on top of the meat.
  • You can cook this meat for 1 hour on high OR 2 hours on low. (See Notes) Optional: Halfway through cooking time, flip the meat.
  • Shred the meat in the slow cooker and mix to combine all ingredients.
  • Split the shredded meat evenly onto the 2 hamburger buns, and serve hot.

Notes

If you are not able to locate pineapple tidbits, you can use chunks. You will need to cut the chunks in half.
We prefer 2 hours on low for juicy meat.
We like to serve this with our Parmesan Baked Potato Wedges.
