Small bowl
- 8 oz. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 Green onions, green parts only, for garnish
- 2 Tbsp Bourbon
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp Light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Heinz no sugar added ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp Granulated onion
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/16 tsp Black pepper
Prepare chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and granulated onion. Set aside.
Whisk the garlic, broth, bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear on both sides. Don’t overcook the chicken. Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss it to coat.
Toss the chicken occasionally while cooking over medium-high heat. The liquid should reduce to a glaze. Cook about 6-8 minutes.
Serve with sliced green onions as garnish.
We like to serve this with our Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots.
