Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

I am so glad that both my kids like vegetables. I try to vary how they are made so they don’t become boring. This recipe was a special treat because it had brown sugar. Even though the recipe has simple ingredients, they taste amazing.

- 8 oz. Baby carrots , about 1 1/2 cups
- 2 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Light brown sugar
- 1/16 tsp Salt
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan with a lid. On high heat, bring to a boil.
Cover with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 6-8 minutes.
Increase the heat to medium-high and remove the lid. Cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally until carrots are tender and all of the water has evaporated. Serve immediately.
You can use baby carrots, sliced carrots, and any variety you prefer. Cooking times may vary, so check for doneness at the minimum times listed.
