Italian Sausage Seasoning

This is a flavorful seasoning mix to use when Italian sausage is called for in a recipe. It has no fennel seeds in it, which is unusual but we are not fans of fennel seeds' licorice flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Dried parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Granulated garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Granulated onion
  • 1 Tbsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Coarse black pepper
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes, or more
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Dried rosemary
  • 1/16 tsp Lemon Juice Powder

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in the small blender container of a Magic Bullet Blender and blend for 5 seconds using the flat blade. Or you can grind in a spice grinder.

Notes

Store in an airtight container.
Use 1 Tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp per 8 oz. of ground meat. If the meat has excess fluid, drain it, then add the seasoning mix to your meat.
