Food Saver Review

We had a Seal-A-Meal for years until it died, so we got this Food Saver Compact Food Sealer. It’s an improvement over our Seal-A-Meal.

Pros:

It comes with a roll of bag material and a few premade bags, so you won’t need to purchase additional bags to get started.

This model features an indicator light to display the various stages of the sealing process, which is nice if you are doing several bags at once.

It’s a hands-free operation, so you don’t have to hold the bag in the machine throughout the sealing process.

Using the Food Saver system keeps our food fresher for much longer.

We buy in bulk, and the Food Saver allows us to portion out our foodstuffs. Making meal prep much easier.

Cons:

Until you become practiced at sealing the bags, you may use excess bag material.

The premade bags and Bag Rolls are a little expensive, but we think it’s worth it.

We highly recommend the Food Saver Compact Food Sealer. It keeps our food fresher for longer and saves us time.
