Baked Asiago Garlic Oysters Recipe for Two

Baked oysters, in shell, in 15 minutes! An ultimate seafood appetizer for a special meal or entertaining. I don’t enjoy oysters as much as my Daughter and Daughter-in-Law. They were the taste testers for this recipe. I heard perfect, delicious, and yummy to describe the oysters.

Baked Asiago Garlic Oysters

Ingredients
- 6 Large Fresh oysters , on the half shell
- 2 Tbsp Asiago cheese , grated
- 1 Tbsp Butter , melted
- 1 Tbsp Seasoned panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 Tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 1/32 tsp Black pepper
- 1/64 tsp Salt
- 1 Lemon , cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Make 6 nests of foil, one to hold each oyster.
- Remove the oyster gently from the shell using a small knife or spoon.
- Rinse the shell, then place the shell on a foil “nest” on the baking pan. Add the oyster back into its shell. Repeat for each oyster.
- Mix melted butter, salt, pepper, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Spoon 1/2 tsp garlic butter on the top of each oyster. Add 1 teaspoon of cheese to each oyster. Top with 1/2 tsp of the seasoned Panko crumbs. Repeat for each oyster.
- Bake for 10 minutes until golden and bubbly. Remove from oven and top with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges.
