Easy Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic is milder and smoother, yet retains its signature garlic flavor. The cloves are soft and smash easily for your recipes. It’s a great way to savor garlic on its milder side.
Equipment
- Knives
- 12oz Ceramic Casserole Dish or another small oven-safe dish with a lid
Ingredients
- 1 Large Head of garlic
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Remove each clove from the base and cut the bottom of each clove off. Then smash with the side of a large knife, then peel each clove.
- In a mini casserole dish, add garlic cloves and olive oil, tossing to coat. Cover the container with a lid or foil.
- After 45-55 minutes of baking, the garlic will be golden and tender. Cool completely before handling.
- Garlic cloves can be used in recipes or mashed into a paste for spreading on bread.
Notes
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge.
