  • Melt butter in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the minced onion and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in garlic, salt, granulated onion, and black pepper. Add the drained peas and heat for 2-3 minutes. Don’t overcook. You simply need to heat the peas. Peas should remain bright green.
  • Remove from heat and gently stir in the Parmesan cheese. Place in a serving dish and serve warm.

Notes

You can use fresh peas, but the cooking time will need to be adjusted until the peas are cooked through.
Do not use canned peas unless you must.
